Angela Rose is a national leader in the movement to shatter the silence of sexual violence. After over a decade of battling the myths and ongoing incidents of sexual assault, Angela has become a valued educator in survivor empowerment and violence prevention. Angela is also a well-known activist responsible for a nationwide protest in July 2007 dubbed “Call it RAPE” in response to the silencing of rape victims in court. It was covered by CNN, TODAY, TIME and newscasts across the country.

Sherry Woodard is Best Friends Animal Society’s resident animal behavior consultant. As an expert in animal training, behavior and care, she develops resources, provides consulting services, leads workshops and speaks nationwide to promote animal welfare. She also assists individuals and shelter and rescue personnel with animal behavior, management and enrichment. Sherry is featured in the new National Geographic series “Dogtown” which premiered on January 4th. Born in Germany and raised in Southern California, Denise Brown led a life remarkable only in its normalcy until June 12, 1994 when her sister, Nicole Brown Simpson, was murdered. If you were to ask Denise to describe herself prior to this tragic event, you would have heard, “I’m just a mom from Laguna Beach.” Brown’s life path dramatically altered, she would now tell you that along with her devotion to her son, Sean, she is also committed to raising awareness against domestic violence - a crime that kills three women every day in the United States.
